Go Green Punjab
About the Project
Project Coordinator: Dr. Shaveta Chopra
Go Green Punjab is an environmental initiative aimed at contributing to cleaner, healthier surroundings. Inspired by the principles associated with Master Choa Kok Sui’s teachings—including balance and complementary forces—the initiative has focused on practical environmental action through tree plantation and awareness about reducing plastic use.
Trees for Life
Tree-planting activities began in April 2021 in locations around Jalandhar. The original project plan set a target of planting 5,000 trees across Punjab by March 2024.
Minimise the Use of Plastics
The project also identified awareness activities to encourage reduced use of plastics and more responsible environmental habits. The original material referred to plans for awareness activities in 2023.
Our Vision
Through tree plantation and environmental awareness, the project aims to encourage shared responsibility for the environment and inspire individuals and communities to take practical steps towards a greener Punjab.
